Saw an interesting
post on Linkedin Today:
- "An interesting one. We retrieved the following collision data from a crashed Audi e-tron. I was very interested in the field “Event Type: External Trigger”. In 30 years downloading Crash Data from cars, I never seen such a label.
The e-tron is equipped with the Audi “Pre Sense” system. I'm reckoning the vehicle, through it's radar sensors, calculated that it was going to crash and deployed the SRS without actually hitting the object first. Very interesting! "
