Toyota seeks damage control, in public and private
It's a bloodbath; In public, Toyota is running apologetic TV ads and volwing to win back customer trust. In private, they are trying to learn all it can about congressional investigations and perhaps steer things.
It's an all out drive by the world's biggest auto manufacturer to redeem itself and it's brand.
