Why we are critical of the handling of the Toyota situation

We could not have put it better so we will qoute it here since it is also the reason why we have been so critical of Congress & NHTSA about their handling of this whole Toyota mess:

In each of those cases, tests were setup to "simulate" the purported problem, but the tests did not exactly simulate real world conditions and showed unrealistic scenarios."
