Videos are everywhere, of everything, and the technology shift could lead to harsher experiences for jurors, and could put pressure on judges to re-examine the balancing act that they have long used to determine what kind of evidence makes its way into court. Videos, some quite grisly, are increasingly a major feature of cases.
Being subjected to such images could make jury service a brutal experience.
