The Canadian Vehicle Specifications System (CVS SPECS) is provided by Transport Canada. It contains the specifications of Canadian vehicles, including trucks and vans, from 1971 to the present. These programs and databases are also available free of charge and include a DOS based browser.
McHenry Software will provide a Windows based browser for this database, the NHTSA Vehicle Specifications database and the NHTSA Crash Test databases, as a part of the m-edit/m-smac programs.
The Canadian Association of Technical Accident Investigators and Reconstructionists (CATAIR) has posted the database online. See the CATAIR page for information on downloading the file.
