The Backup/Restore projects/files function have been revised for easier functionality. The function is handled on the File menu and automatically creates or restores from ZIP files. The backup/restore Function can backup all project files including input, output & graphics files, or optionally backup files per your selection.
To access the Backup/Restore commands, from Medit32 select

When you select the backup Projects or restore Projects command, the following dialog is displayed:

Listed below the main Backup/Restore dialog is the actual file names. You can individually select/deselect the files, or select by file grouping as discussed below:

The default startup behavior for the Backup/Restore command
is to select ALL the files
related to the project (input, output, graphics, etc). To change,
simply de-select the
and
select what you wish to backup, for example
. This will have the effect of allowing you to move a project between
machine, etc.. You can also simply select/.de-select individual files for
backup.
The default location for the backup file is to the current project directory with the date and time stamped into the ZIP file name.
There are also options to:
• Restore to a B/U
to Archive folder or network Drive. 
• To encrypt the
B/U zip files. 
• To Change the
destination path (this can be also used to copy the project to another Projects
directory). 
• The backup target
location is located in the field 
• The dialog also indicates the number of files in the directory and the number of files selected
• 
• Once all the
options are selected, simply click 
A dialog will indicate the status of the backup

Restore
The Restore command is basically the same as the backup command except you browse for a previously created Backup ZIP file and select which files you wish to restore and select the location where you wish to restore the files.
To access the Restore command
Select menu
From our previous Backup which was located in our Project directory we have the following dialog

You can select individual files, you can select all files, you can Change the path of the restore command.
