Calculating the Static Margin

When you are editing the tire cornering stiffness for any vehicle:

•    card 6 for vehicle 1

•    card 7 for vehicle 2

•    card 56 for vehicle3)

When you select any of the cornering stiffness fields, a Static margin Calculator dialog pops up and the cornering stiffness is automatically calculated with the Static Margin calculator depicted in Figure 66 below. You can also change the static margin value and click the update button and it will change the rear cornering stiffness required to produce the requested static margin.
