The new Charts tool is a major enhancement in Medit32. Every time you run msmac it creates a time history dataset of a selection of variables (speed, position, acceleration, etc.) The file is saved in CSV format, or Comma Separated Values format. As part of our update we have enhanced the amount of information which is sent to the CDV file and then created a Chart function to use the newly enhanced and expanded *.CSV file created by Msmac. The Chart function displays both 'grid' or 'spreadsheet' format, and chart format of the most recent run of Msmac.
There are 2 ways to update the *.CSV file and look at charts
• After you have run msmac, simply Open the Charts tool from the menu item Tools / Charts.

• Or, If you have an SI5 Grid open, you can hit the button in the upper left of that form

This will save the SI5 including any changes you have made, then run msamc and once completed update the Charts screen. Using this method, you can make a change to anything in the SI5 grid, and with one click (Update Charts), see the new calculations reflected in the Charts tool, in both grid and chart forms.
The Chart tool is designed to be totally user-customizable and extensible, so that the 'factory presets' are only your starting point. You can create unlimited customized presets of your own, and store them with names you choose for 'one click recall'. You can make you own presets 'default' and / or 'preferred top 5', etc. You can easily send any selected chart or grid to Print Preview, Word, or Excel, in true WYSIWYG sizing and rendition, at any time. You can also control the relative size of the Chart and the Grid by dragging the slider bar between them.
