Import Original SMAC Files

Tools à Import à Original SMAC. The input format for the original form of SMAC files are slightly different than the input format for m-smac files. The m-smac will accept and run original SMAC runs in their original form. However, due to differences in the format of the input tables of the Original SMAC files and m-smac input tables, the input files are displayed as simple text files. The driver control tables for Original SMAC can be input only as fixed time increments (For further information on input tables in m-smac, see the section on “popup form table edit mode” in the chapter on the “m-smac Intelligent Editor” in the medit Users Manual).

To permit easy conversion of Original SMAC files to the m-smac format, a import/conversion option is provided. The Import Original SMAC option of the Tools - Import menu is used to for this purpose.
