Use the arrow keys to move about the various fields in the file. Please take notice of the two main status areas, the first which is shown below:

Status area A is the Quick Access Toolbar (Figure 54) provides quick access to commonly used commands. The Run Button executes the program associated with the current file (whether m-smac, smac Graphics (msmacgr) or smac Animation (mGraphics)) without displaying the Run dialog box.  The Run menu should be used to run a project file for the first time to confirm that the files and options you use are correct. On subsequent runs you can merely click the Run button.

Status Area B (Figure 55) is located just above the main grid and below status area A.  This status area includes commands, additional information on the current field, and many other items of interest. Use <left/right> and <up/down>  arrows to move through the file and you will note that the description area changes as each field is 'highlighted'. The current field is highlighted by the card having a blinking box. Please see the Appendix for a presentation of these various options.

Status Area C (Figure 56) is located between the Sub Title listing and the main grid section. Status area 1 is the first line of the grid. The far left box of this line is the header 'Card'. This indicates that the column below this box contains the card-sequence identification. To the right of the 'Card' field are the variable names for each of the current card's input variables. Use the <down arrow> to move down through the file and you will note that the row of  variable names changes as each card is 'highlighted'. The current 'card' highlighted is indicated by the card having a background different than the normal background color (in the example, dark blue v light blue, note you can change the display colors, etc. Please see customizing the display in the appendix.)
