To run SMACTHP, simply select Tools->SmacTHP Velocity/Acceleration Montitoring
The following dialog appears

Inputs for SMACTHP:
Vehicle No. – For which vehicle do you wish to monitor the acceleration? You can do it on both vehicles but the smacthp must be run separately for each vehicle.
Start time, End time – These times should correspond to the time of interest in your simulation run. Using 0 to 10 seconds means that it will monitor the complete msmac run for acceleration.
Accelerometer Location – where do you wish to place the accelerometer? For Default/Original, the units are inches, for metric, the units are mm.
Delta-V Calculations – this is where you can optionally select when to start and end the integration of the acceleration time history. Setting these to 0, 0 will have the program automatically determine the start and end time for the integration of the acceleration based upon the Center of Gravity acceleration. The default behavior for msmac is to start the integration of the acceleration once the acceleration rises above 1 gunit, and to end the integration of the acceleration when it once again returns to below 1 g-unit of acceleration. This is in consideration that the acceleration of a vehicle normally only goes above 1 g-unit if external forces are acting on the vehicle and that generally is when the vehicle is in a collision.
