Addition notes on the upcoming msmac3D Ver2.50 update:
  • Steering/Braking Table type >1 - The default input for msmac is to have the table type set to 2 (field 6 of the table header) which is the Detect Contact option. See also input tables instructions.
    NOTE: ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION TO FOLLOW:
    • You can also set the value to any value larger than 1 and the Detect Contact option will be in effect. The enhancement is that you can have as many Pre-impact and post-impact steer/braking/acceleration inputs and and the program will automatically detect collision contact and ramp the current values at contact to the 'post-impact values' (whatever number you set, default is 2) automatically.
It is in the software and additional documentation and examples will be included in the update.

April 24, 2019: We plan to start sending every couple of months News and Information emails to our licensees with information on updates, common issues we get emails about and other information.
We will also post these to this thread for easy access.
