Is there a standard rate for crash test videos?

Q: Is there a standard rate for crash test videos? I have a crash test video that was performed in 1998 with high speed cameras. The video itself is 29.97 frames per second. It shows the crash in real time and then slowed down considerably from the various angles. I’m wondering if there is a standard for how much those are slowed? Or even a typical range to use? Any additional insight would be appreciate

A: For the time frame you mention (1998) i looked at a random crash test and found the frames per second for the 16 cameras were all over the place!! Very strange (why would they vary fps to be 1000,1002,953,1000,1008, etc etc ...???) and/or how do they determine that? (if there's a DIAL why not set at 1000??!!!!)

So I dug a little deeper and looked up the NHTSA Lab Test procedure for NCAP tests from 2012.
And the following is the Camera Requirements (1000 Frames per second):
