Sept 20, 2010: We had a user experiencing issues with a 'please update your software' message from McHenry Software.
After checking the license and versions for the various components, we were stumped.
Then we asked the client to check the date on their computer.
It was the right month and day, but wrong year!
If you get a 'license expired' or similar error message fomr our or any other software vendor, you might double check that you have he correct date.
