Monte Carlo Solutions for crash analysis

Post by MSI »

Q: I was reading your response on INCR and following your references on your web site. You mentioned in those posts you had more to say about using Monte Carlo analysis. I couldn’t find any more on your site. Can you point me to that info?

A: In a post we have on Some Momentum Misconceptions we spoke of using Monte Carlo to test and refine any momentum solutions (of course we highly recommend using msmac3D to test and refine momentum solutions too!)
The first link we had in the posting was to Wade Bartlett's info on Using Monte Carlo Techniques for Crash Analysis
Also a quick check on the SAE website includes SAE papers on Monte Carlo
We will add more references on this topic soon!
