Information source for Scooter Speeds and Specs
From Facebook NAPARS page:
  • There's a website Electric Scooter Guides that tests the performance of little stand-on scooters with real VBox test gear - .
They post the results in enough detail over two pages that I was able to evaluate the time-to-speed relationships last year, and that article appeared in ARJ January '21.
    • ARJ is the Accident Reconstruction Journal available with membership to NAPARS
They have added more test data since then, so a slightly more robust data set is presented here. If you have a scooter that's not tested, if you can find the motor specs, you can estimate the time to get to 15, 20, and 25mph (if it has enough juice) and from that you can evaluate the acceleration and distance relationships. At the highest speed (30mph), the curve looks OK, but it's right at the edge of speculative, being such a thin dataset. Attempting to calculate the time to high speed (say, over 15mph) with very low powered motors (say under 500 watts) is amusing, but probably not very practical. There are also some high-powered units that don't really fit these curves well, and are not listed here

Also on the Electric Scooter Guides additional specs and things like this link for World's Fastest Scooters (individual model specs, speeds, etc are on the site)
