3D Graphics version 3.10 information

Post by MSI »

Just loading up a preliminary version of 3D Graphics version 3.10
Below are a few of the additions/enhancements, many more in the update. Many of these ideas are from suggestions from the team at A&M Forensics in TX during an online training seminar last month.
  • Please let us know if you and your team would like some online training.
here are a few of the items in the update, we should be posting up info videos and other things soon.
1) First of course is VRML support! The following image is a sample vrml project with sequential exposure of simulation positions!

2) USE SIMPLE View (the left side)
  • To quickly look at output like for time of impact, and many other items in 3D graphics,
    • simply select from upper icon bar Output file icon (see arrows)
then be sure you have Simple View selected (and it will remain selected)
then any and all files load instantly!

3) You can now name your Tracking Camera views!
See graphics below for the new features:

4) We've also refined some of the Pan and zoom controls to better let you know orientations:

5) We also now list the input line descriptions on the 3D graphics Editor:

6) When you load graphics models now the model name/location is preserved ,
simply click on the vehicle and click on the Color icon

7) The curb weight and passenger/cargo weights are now retained
  • and a Recalculate Moment of Inertia Button has been added
Note the total weight is used however you can now change either and a new total (and Moment of Inertia) easily calculated!
