Yes we can.

Main steps are:
- Set the distance between nodes to 0.5 or so increment between to model the undercarriage impact with the ground
- Set the Node/Ground Friction Multiplier to a value other than 0.0
- 0.0 turns off the nodes
- In the below sample where both front wheels broke off we set the multiplier to 0.50 for first test, and to 1.0 for second test
- with ground default friction 0.75 that makes the effective MU=0.375 and 0.75
- We also ran with the wheels intact and partial braking on the front wheels (damage induced)
- Go to Grid and insert card(s) 302 seq 1 (time of and new radius inputs) 302, seq 2(time of and new friction) for each wheel
(Help file will be posted shortly on these inputs) - In below video impact was at approx 0.32 seconds, so set Radius change to 0.40 seconds and rolling radius to 4" for RF and LF tires
