A: ESC is Electronic Stability Control.
- And I could be a wise guy and say, no, PC-Crash does not have ESC, BUT, they do have ESP!!
- Yes, they have perception occurring independently of sight, hearing, or other sensory processes! as in ExtraSensory Perception!!.
From the PC-Crash Ver 8.2, May 2009 Operating Manual they state that they have a "manufacturer-independent model".
- From the Operating Manual:
- "Many modern vehicles have built-in devices for increasing driving stability for avoiding breakaways of the vehicle . The stability is gained by applying break(sic) forces to single wheels, thus decreasing improper yaw angular velocity. PC-Crash has a manufacturer-independent model for simulating such electronic devices. On the page Stability Control the parameters for this model can be accessed."
- Cycle time (update frequency of the ESP),
Yaw Rate Threshold (optimal Yaw Rate is determined in PC-CRASH based upon the vehicle steer angle, vehicle velocity and approximation of the vehicle radius) and
Control Factor (how fast and intense does the PC Crash user want the ESP reaction?)
