Some Recent Important Tech Support Questions

Post by MSI »

The following are some recent Tech support questions and responses:

1) When using the Nodes Option this is ONLY for the interaction of the vehicle with the terrain (whether undercarriage or rollover contacts).
  • The client with the question has used another software vendor's node like mesh for vehicle interaction (which we hear is buggy) so this is to clarify that our nodes currently ONLY are for interaction between the vehicle and the terrain.
  • The msmac3D Collision Model inputs are used for vehicle to vehicle interaction
    • ALSO NOTE: Be sure to also read the DISCUSSION sections listed to left when you use the link to the msmac3D Help file (also local on your computer)

2) Sometimes with new projects or when an update is installed, the links to Recent Projects are reset or not including the most recent projects.
  • No PROBLEM!
  • Simply use the Parent Folder Link to list ALL projects in various Parent Folders (like Projects folder)
    OR
use the Browse Projects option to look around for any projects.
UPDATES DO NOT change or remove any of YOUR projects. Only some DEMOS, etc are updated.
